Church of St. Nicholas, the Church of St. Nicholas (Czech. Kostel sv. Mikuláše) – Temple on the Old Town Square in Prague, monumental religious building, now – the main church of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church.

The present church stands on the site of one of the oldest religious buildings of the city, referred to in 1273. The church was rebuilt several times, most recently in 1732-1737 years by the architect Kilian Dientzenhofer. Antonin Braun – author of the article at the main portal and the Bavarian Peter Azam – the author of the frescoes. In the gilded interior – body with figures of angels in gilt draperies, stained glass image of St. Wenceslas and St. Nicholas.

One of the main attractions of the temple is a crystal chandelier (Horos), donated by the Russian Emperor Alexander II to this temple, which in the years 1870-1914 to rent a Russian Orthodox Church. The chandelier was made on the famous Garrahovskoy glass manufactory and is in the form of the imperial crown.
